Age Division Winners: If you placed in the top three in your age division and did not pick up your medal race day, please call Eden Medical Center's Public Relations Department at (510) 727-2720 to arrange a time for you to pick up the medal at the medical center. Medals will be held for pick up until July 31, 2009.

5K Walk and Run - 10K Run - Kids Dash
Benefiting Eden's Trauma Center
Eden Medical Center's Run to the Lake was held on Sunday, July 12, 2009! The race, that started in front of Eden Medical Center and continued to Lake Chabot, saw a record number of runners this year with 1,081. Of those runners, 76 were participants in the Kid's Dash. We also had 200 volunteers and approximately 600 people come through the Health Expo.
The Health Expo offered the opportunity for community members to drop off their mercury thermometers and expired medication. We collected 57 mercury thermometers and 75lbs. of expired and unwanted medication.
A special thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers who make this event not only possible but a huge success!

Chip Timing – New This Year!
The latest in finish line timing! A disposable chip records your time from exactly when you cross the start line and the finish line. The electronic chip will come with your bib number with instructions on how and where to affix the chip to your shoe for the timing process. It is a disposable chip and does not have to be turned in at the finish line.
